CHURCH MINISTRIES

Last Sunday, November 16, was Stewardship Dedication Sunday. We had a wonderful worship service, and were especially blessed by our children and all the Joyful Noise singers! Thank you to all who submitted their pledges for the coming year. To date, we have received 56 pledges totaling $136,000.00. In 2015, with the prospect of a new pastor coming to us, our budget is projected to be roughly 25% higher than last year. So, we need everyone’s support. If you have not submitted your pledge, extra cards can be found in the upstairs foyer and at the entrances to the sanctuary. You may drop them in the offering plate or mail them to the church. Thank you for your love and continued commitment of FPC!

A Special Thank You: The prayer shawl being used in the service of healing today was knitted by Beth Pequeno. If you would like to join Beth in a prayer shawl ministry, please see her after worship.

Church-wide Thanksgiving Feast: Join us immediately following worship today as we come together & share all the things we’re thankful for!

Beacons: Will meet in the Tiki Room this evening at 5:30 p.m. Bring your dinner.

Tuesday Tales: Tuesday, November 25th; 3:30 p.m. in the downstairs classroom. Faith Friends: let’s talk about Advent!

Church Office Closed: Thursday and Friday, November 27 and 28 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.

Montreat Summer Conference: If you plan to attend the conference next summer (July 25-August 1), the ABSOLUTE deadline to sign up is Sunday, November 30th. A $100 deposit is also due at that time.

Love Offering for Taylor Bouma: As most of you know, Taylor has been receiving chemo treatments and has been responding well. However, now he is taking radiation treatments daily in Winston-Salem. Beginning today and through the end of the year, we will be receiving a weekly love offering to help offset the cost of gasoline. If you would like to contribute, the Beacons will be at each of the exits after the worship service. Contact the church office if you have questions.
