Children’s Holy Week Activities

Hey folks!!!

We are almost to the end of Lent and moving into Holy Week and we have several exciting events for the children of our church. In order to plan properly please e-mail or call Shasta to sign your child up for any and all of these wonderful events. Friends are always welcome but we DO need them to sign up so that we can plan. It’s going to be a great Holy Week, we hope we see you there.

Palm Sunday Procession of Palms: This Sunday, April 1st. Meet in the hall outside the sanctuary at 10:55 on Sunday and help carry the palms in and remember Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem and the beginning of Holy Week.
3rd – 5th Grade Service Morning and Lunch: If you are in 3rd – 5th grade come live out your faith by helping feed God’s people on Wednesday, April 4th. We will meet at FPC at 9:40 and then head over to Yokefellow where we will help stock their shelves with food as well as bag up groceries to be given to those in need. After we finish working we’ll head over to McDonald’s for lunch, so you’ll need money for that. I am very excited about this opportunity for our children to serve. Parents please talk to your children about the idea of confidentiality prior to their participation in this event.
Family Easter Party and Egg Hunt: Saturday, April 7th 3:00 – 5:00. This is always a wonderful and fun event for the whole family as we learn about the miracle of Christ’s resurrection through stories, games and crafts. There will be refreshments and a big Easter Egg Hunt to cap off the event.

Also, please mark your calendars for Sunday, May 6th for an exciting event for our K-5th grade children. More information coming soon.
