CHURCH MINISTRIES
Our heartfelt sympathy is extended to Mary Madison Cox and family on the death of her husband, Vance Cox, who passed away on Monday, February 13th.
Scout Hut Study Group: Will meet this afternoon from 3:00-4:15 p.m. in the Scout Hut. Any members with suggestions regarding the Scout Hut are free to discuss with any of the group members: David Beal, Julia Ann Banfield, Sam Brown, Linda Gatchel, Timmesa Eads, Beth Pequeno or Felton Godwin.
Beacons: Will meet in the Lighthouse this evening at 5:30 p.m. Shasta needs someone to provide dinner. If you would like to volunteer, please see her.
Women’s Spring Bible Study: Bible 101 – Have you ever wondered…how and why the books in the bible were chosen…the key points & key players? Two classes will be offered: Monday evenings at 6:30 p.m. and Wednesdays at 12:00 noon. Cost is $15 for book. Deadline to sign up is today.
Beacon Lock-In: Friday and Saturday, February 24th and 25th; The Beacons will do some of what they do best – serve, laugh and play! Sign up on the board in the upstairs foyer if you plan to come. We’re going to have a great time! Ice skating could be involved…
Recycling Volunteers Needed: Please sign up if you would be willing to come & collect the recycling items, put in the carts (in the old boiler room) & place at the curb prior to pick-up day. Schedule is on bulletin board in foyer.
New Member Sunday: Sunday, March 11th; If you are interested in making your relationship with First Presbyterian official, please see Steve prior to March 4th.
Read to Feed: The Beacons have collected lots of books but need LOTS more in order to have our book swap/drive. Please consider donating any books you longer need or want. If you need for someone to come & pick them up, we’ll be glad to do that as well.
