CHURCH MINISTRIES
Our heartfelt sympathy is extended to Margaret Shepherd on the death of her fiancé, Danny Allred, who passed away recently.
Beacons: Will meet in the Lighthouse this evening at 5:30 p.m. The Lowe family will provide dinner.
Choir Rehearsals: Wednesday, February 15th; Youth Choir will practice at 6:45 p.m.; Adults at 7:30 p.m.
Keenagers: Will have lunch at Harvest Grill at Shelton Vineyards on Thursday, February 16th. We will leave from the church at 11:00 a.m. Sign up if you wish to go. No cost is involved except for your meal.
Women’s Spring Bible Study: Bible 101 – Have you ever wondered…how and why the books in the bible were chosen…the key points & key players? Two classes will be offered: Monday evenings at 6:30 p.m. and Wednesdays at 12:00 noon. Cost is $15 for book. Sign up by Sunday, February 19th. If you pay by check, you can place it in the envelope on the outside of Shasta’s office door.
Scout Hut Study Group: Will meet on Sunday, February 19th, from 3:00-4:15 p.m. in the Scout Hut. Any members with suggestions regarding the Scout Hut are free to discuss with any of the group members: David Beal, Julia Ann Banfield, Sam Brown, Linda Gatchel, Timmesa Eads, Beth Pequeno or Felton Godwin.
Recycling Volunteers Needed: Please sign up if you would be willing to come & collect the recycling items, put in the carts (in the old boiler room) & place at the curb prior to pick-up day. Schedule is on bulletin board in foyer.
New Member Sunday: Sunday, March 11th; If you are interested in making your relationship with First Presbyterian official, please see Steve prior to March 4th.
Read to Feed: The Beacons have collected lots of books but need LOTS more in order to have our book swap/drive. Please consider donating any books you longer need or want. If you need for someone to come & pick them up, we’ll be glad to do that as well.
